ACTIVITIES

The 3 seperate clubs we run enable each child to take what they need from our care, to promote sociability, enjoyment and education. We offer activities, trips and events that are appropriate to the age of the child and their stage of development. This enhances their development and helps them to progress.
3yrs-7yrs KS1 Club
This club operates on the ground floor of the building and has a large open play space where our children can take advantage of our wide range of toys and games. They can draw and colour, paint and glue, glitter and sparkle. This area has a toy kitchen and a library, dressing up area and much more. We also offer a 'quiet room'. This areas is for reading stories, watching TV, listening to music or just relaxing at the end of the day. Our children have open access to outside with slides, sand tray, balls and hoops, skipping ropes and various outside games.
All in all this club offers our young children a safe and happy area to play and develope.
8yrs-11ys KS2
This club operates on the 1st floor of the club and is a larger version of the downstairs area. The craft area and snack bar is geared to older children who can use this space to develope their own skills. We run a cooking club where the children prepare food for the club using fresh ingredients, vegetables and fruit. They learn how to prepare food aswell as eat what they have made! The older children lead there play and are in control of what they want and need, a 'children's committee' runs monthly to evaluate the club and make suggestions. This area if the club is staffed to support these children to develope and eventually progress to High School
11+
This service is offered as a flexible transition from Primary School to High School. Many parents worry about the first few terms of KS3 and we offer a place for these young people to come to, have some food, do homework and play. They are safe, monitored and secure for as long as they need.
